| WHO WE ARE
In 1994 concerned citizens overwhelmed with grief concerning the number of young people involved in gang and drug related violence organized a small committee and formed a not-for-profit organization name:
Building Esteem Support Team.
Our Mission was and still is today:
We provided Will County (Illinois) with comprehensive anger management education for the past 14 years. The first five years we operated with an all volunteer staf. We now are primarily funded by the Illinois Department of Childern and Family Services. We provide an eight-hour Purpose-Driven Anger Mangagement workshop for Adults, Teens, and Kids. The Will County Health Department, the Will County Court System, local area school districts, local area hospitals, many Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and licensed professional counselors, refer participants to our workshop.
We have received many accolades, awards, and honors. However, our most gratifying reward is that of evaluations and Testimonials from schools and family members as to the changed lifestyle of the workshop participants.
